Create an early learning environment that deliberately and effectively integrates physical activity throughout the preschool day.
Through this training, early childhood educators will learn how to make a difference in children's health and development by creating a child care environment that teaches motor skills and supports the development of healthy, lifelong behaviors. Participants will learn about about their role in children's activity levels and large motor development, and will explore inexpensive strategies and practies that foster active play both indoors and out.
Pre-approved or can be used for 6.5 professional development hours in Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Vermont and Washington. In other states, check with your licensing bureau.
