The Growing Healthy Eaters seven hour training provides early childhood educators with knowledge and skills to create a nutritionally purposeful child chare environment — one that is deliberate in its approach to nutrition and supports preschool-aged children, their families, and child care providers in the development of lifelong eating behaviors.
Participants will learn how to support picky eaters, engage families, plan menus, and manage food allergies.
Growing Healthy Eaters is pre-approved or can be used for for seven professional development hours in Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Carolina, and Vermont. In other areas, check with your state's licensing bureau.
